Аннотация
The purpose of the study was to examine particular features of the clinical course of stomach ulcer (SU) and duodenal ulcer (DU) in conjunction with bronchial asthma (BA) in elder patients. We examined 59 patients with BA in conjunction with SU and DU at the age of 69-89 (46 males and 13 females). All patients underwent esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGDS) and H. pylori examination of tissue samplings from the mucous coat of the stomach and duodenum (urease test). BA was diagnosed based on the clinical picture, examination of the external respiration function, reversibility of bronchial obstruction of not less than 20% after the pharmacological test or anti-inflammatory treatment.
