Аннотация
Laënnec invented the stethoscope in 1816, which became an essential part of clinical methods in medicine. Auscultation is one of the most significant discoveries in medicine and is time-tested. It holds well against various new advanced diagnostic procedures for identifying simple stenosis and complex cardiac diseases. Cranial auscultation is unique and, with the advent of newer radiological investigations, is a skill that stays 'forgotten'. This article aims to review the various principles of cranial auscultation, methods, and correct bedside techniques that might equip a neurophysician to suspect and diagnose multiple conditions at the bedside.
