Fixed Orthodontic Treatment in Mandibular Lateral Incisor-Canine Transposition.

Transposition, which is a dental anomaly, is defined as a positional interchange of two adjacent permanent teeth found on the same dental arch. In this case report, we present the outcomes of fixed orthodontic treatment in a patient with unilateral mandibular lateral incisor-canine transposition. Following orthodontic treatment, transposed teeth were placed into their normal anatomicalpositions on the mandibular dental arch by applying mild orthonitc forces, and smile esthetics was restored with ideal.
