For more circular haemorrhoidal piles, circular stapled haemorrhoidectomy has been used in Germany since 1998. In cases of additional prolapsing anoderm reconstructive anoplasty might be superior. Using a classification orientated therapeutical regime for haemorrhoidal disease offers high healing rates with a low rate of complications and recurrences.
