The High-Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein-Albumin-Lymphocyte Index Is a Prognostic Marker for All-Cause and Cardiovascular Mortality in Patients With ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction.
Аннотация
BACKGROUND
Inflammation and immune dysfunction may worsen the prognosis of patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).
AIMS: This study aimed to assess whether the high-sensitivity C-reactive protein-albumin-lymphocyte index (hsCALLYI) could be used to predict the prognosis of STEMI patients who received emergency percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) treatment.
METHODS
Participants were categorized into three groups based on hsCALLYI tertiles. To assess the prognostic significance of hsCALLYI in predicting both all-cause and cardiovascular mortality, Kaplan-Meier survival curves were constructed, followed by Cox proportional hazards regression modeling and time-dependent receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis.
RESULTS
A lower level of hsCALLYI demonstrated a significant correlation with elevated mortality risk from all causes (hazard ratio [HR] = 9.826, 95% CI = 3.091-31.235, p < 0.001) and cardiovascular mortality (HR = 15.035, 95% CI = 3.353-67.408, p < 0.001). The area under the ROC curve of hsCALLYI for all-cause mortality was 0.696 (p < 0.05), and the area under the ROC curve of hsCALLYI for cardiovascular mortality was 0.695 (p < 0.05).
CONCLUSION
hsCALLYI emerged as a significant independent prognostic indicator for both all-cause and cardiovascular mortality in STEMI patients undergoing emergency PCI.
