Аннотация
Elderly maintenance hemodialysis patients not only have to adapt to the changes caused by aging but also face the fatigue of self-regulation caused by the consumption of the disease, they deserve more attention from us. This study is to investigate the current situation of attitudes toward aging of elderly maintenance hemodialysis patients in remote areas and analyze their influencing factors to provide a theoretical basis for the development of targeted interventions to improve the level of attitudes toward aging. Using a convenience sampling method, questionnaires were administered to elderly MHD patients selected from two class A hospitals in Panzhihua city, Sichuan Province, China, from April to October 2024. Our study revealed that the elderly maintenance hemodialysis patients in remote areas of China had low attitudes toward aging and high levels of self-regulatory fatigue. There were negative relationships between attitudes toward aging and self-regulatory fatigue. Stepwise regression analysis revealed that the main factors influencing attitudes towards ageing in elderly maintenance hemodialysis patients were sex, interdialytic weight gain, the number of comorbidities and self-regulatory fatigue, accounted for 66.1 % of the total variance.
