Аннотация
The structure, metabolism and role in the organism of adenosine is discussed with special reference to its electrophysiological properties and effects on the cardiovascular system. The role of adenosine is presented in the protection of the heart muscle during ischaemia and its use is described in the treatment of supraventricular tachycardia and the differential diagnosis of tachyarrhythmia and the diagnosis of coronary heart disease.
