Аннотация

Tennis elbow, a typical occupational and sports injury, severely affects a patient's daily life. Despite the availability of various therapeutic approaches, patient satisfaction and treatment outcomes for conditions such as tennis elbow remain suboptimal. Recent advancements have highlighted the efficacy of physical factor therapies, a new class of non-surgical treatments, in clinical practice. In the meantime, innovative approaches to the management of tennis elbow have been made possible by the fusion of contemporary medical technology with the traditional external Chinese medicine. This study will focus on the literature related to epicondylitis of the humerus, specifically concentrating on the physical therapy interventions. Analyses of the data demonstrate that physical factor treatments, as well as standard physical therapy, are effective in pain reduction and functional restoration in the upper extremities. Optimal outcomes may be achieved through the combined application of both conventional and modern physiotherapy techniques.
