Аннотация
Using Sushruta's lateral perineal approach, 16 primary repairs for complete rupture of the posterior urethra were carried out between January 1987 and November 1991. This approach to the urethra is short, safe, simple and direct; operative and post-operative complications are minimal and the total recovery period is short.
