Retraction: "Effects of RNA interference-mediated E-selectin gene silencing on cell adhesion molecule expression and cell-cell adhesion in vascular endothelial cells in mice with immunologic contact urticaria," by Zu-Dong Meng, Xiao-Lan Wang, Tian-Ping Du, Yu Wang, Gui-Fang Qin, Hong-Bo Zhao, Yu-Jie Chen, Bo Tian, J Cell Biochem. 2019; 115-125: The above article, published online on 11 September 2018 in Wiley Online Library (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jcb.27150) has been retracted by agreement between the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Christian Behl, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party. A detailed investigation revealed that several image elements of the experimental data were published elsewhere in a different scientific context. Thus, the editors consider the conclusions of this article to be invalid.
