Аннотация
Ischemic monomelic neuropathy (IMN) is an acute, painful axonal neuropathy resulting from a sudden reduction in arterial blood flow [1]. While typically reported as a complication of vascular procedures (e.g., arteriovenous fistulas), rarely it can also arise from acute arterial occlusion [1, 3, 4, 5, 6]. IMN is characterized by rapid-onset distal pain, weakness, and sensory loss, often occurring in the absence of overt signs of limb ischemia like tissue necrosis or skin discoloration. The pathophysiology involves ischemia of the vasa nervorum, leading to multiple mononeuropathies [1]. This report details a rare case of spontaneous IMN, specifically focusing on the temporal recovery of nerve function through serial electrophysiological studies.
