Аннотация

Biomedical patches provide promising tactics for promoting wound healing. The primary challenge is to develop biologically derived patches that more accurately mimic the physiological environment to enhance therapeutic efficacy. Here, we propose a decellularized freeze-dried tumor (dFCT) tissues derived bio-patch incorporated with hair melanin nanoparticles (HNPs) for wound healing. The HNPs are derived from human black hair, endowing the bio-patches with natural reactive oxygen species scavenging capability and photothermal-responsive antibacterial property. After removing tumor cells from colon tumor tissue through classic decellularization and using the freeze-drying approach, the decellularized colon tumor tissues effectively retain the extracellular matrix nutrients including growth factors, collagen and fibrin. The resultant dFCT tissues loaded HNPs-GelMA hydrogel (dFCT-HNPs-GelMA) bio-patches are prone to promote cell growth, migration, and angiogenesis in vitro. Owing to these advantages, the bio-patches significantly accelerate in vivo wound healing by reducing oxidative stress, suppressing inflammation and promoting angiogenesis. Thus, we believe that the proposed dFCT-HNPs-GelMA bio-patches can be optimal naturally multifunctional medical patches for refractory wound healing management.
