Аннотация
A new procedure for the reconstruction of the tear duct system is advocated. After partial ethmoidectomy and incising the conjunctiva at the inner canthus, a superiorly based flap is secured from the septum and pulled into the defect; then it is secured by 7--0 sutures. This flap contains mucous membrane and cartilage.
