Аннотация
Surgical treatment for colorectal cancer has been approached by various treatment strategies. Among them, laparoscopic surgery, trans-anal total mesorectal excision(TaTME)and robot-assisted surgery are nowbeing the newstandard. Moreover, in Japan, lateral lymph node dissection for lower rectal cancer has been performed as a standard treatment. In this article, we introduce some evidences obtained by clinical trials to date on these topics for colorectal cancer.
