Аннотация
The diagnostic possibilities for early detection of cancer of the duodenal papilla are discussed. A scheme is suggested for examination of patients suspected of having cancer of the papilla. The advantages of radical operation, providing longer survival are pointed out. A patients is reported, who survived 16 years after duodenopancreatectomy for cancer of the duodenal papilla.
