Аннотация
Chronic cerebral ischemia is a prevalent diagnosis in both general medical and neurological practice. Various estimates suggest that the prevalence of this condition ranges from 25% in individuals aged 45 to 50 years to 50% in those between 50 and 65 years. After the age of 65, the incidence rises significantly, affecting approximately two-thirds of patients. Sleep disorders impact around 1 billion people globally. These conditions often coexist, exacerbating each other's progression and diminishing the quality of life for those affected. Investigating their underlying pathogenic relationships is of considerable clinical interest for identifying potential therapeutic strategies and selecting the safest and most effective treatments. Adding the combination drug Cytoflavin (Inosine+Nicotinamide+Riboflavin+Succinic Acid) to the treatment regimen of patients with comorbid conditions is promising. It has been shown to alleviate the severity of acute insomnia, help prevent its progression to chronic insomnia, reduce the risk of side effects associated with hypnotics, enhance cognitive-behavioral functioning, and diminish anxiety. Cytoflavin is approved for the treatment of diabetic neuropathy and hypertensive encephalopathy, positioning it as a valuable option for patients with chronic cerebral ischemia and insomnia.
