Аннотация
Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common chronic inflammatory skin condition that often emerges in the first few years of life. It is a complex, multifaceted condition that may evolve from infancy to adolescence and requires a comprehensive educational and therapeutic approach. Insights into primary prevention, risk factors for developing AD and allergic comorbidities, the burden of disease, and targeted therapies in the pediatric population are constantly evolving. Awareness of these developments can help guide successful long-term management. This focused review article summarizes a selection of recently published articles, with a focus on emerging data, to help navigate the complexities of providing care for children with AD.
