Аннотация
With the rapid development of science and technology, atmospheric pollutants have become an increasingly urgent problem. Pollutants not only cause serious harm to the atmospheric environment but also pose significant risks to human health. Catalytic purification technology is currently one of the most effective ways to control atmospheric pollution, and the design and development of highly efficient catalysts have become a major research focus. Studies have shown that traditional powder catalysts suffer from several limitations including high pressure drop, catalyst loss, poor recyclability, and a complex process. In contrast, monolithic catalysts effectively address these limitations. Therefore, the development of monolithic catalysts has attracted extensive attention. This paper first introduces the preparation methods of monolithic catalysts and then highlights recent advances in their application for the catalytic purification of nitrogen oxides, volatile organic compounds, carbon monoxide, and particulate matter. The preparation process differences of ceramic, metal and carbon-based carriers and their control mechanisms on pollutant purification performance were systematically compared. Finally, the prospects of monolithic catalysts in air pollution control are discussed.
