Аннотация

INTRODUCTION

Hospital logistics support staff bear essential auxiliary tasks in hospitals, and inadequate perceived humanistic management tends to aggravate their job burnout, which has not been fully explored in existing research.

METHODS

This cross-sectional study recruited 205 hospital logistics support staff to investigate the correlation between perceived humanistic management and job burnout as well as their influencing factors. Questionnaires including the MBI-GS and a self-developed humanistic management perception scale were used for data collection, with univariate analysis, Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression adopted for statistical processing.

RESULTS

Educational attainment, annual income and daily working hours independently predicted all burnout dimensions; higher education and income alleviated burnout, while prolonged working hours exacerbated it. With burnout treated as a covariate, education, tenure, daily working hours and burnout were consistent predictors across all four humanistic management subdimensions, whereas demographic and occupational factors exerted heterogeneous effects on partial dimensions. All subdimensions of humanistic perception showed significant moderate negative correlations with burnout.

DISCUSSION: This study supplements empirical evidence on occupational mental health of understudied logistics support staff. Hospitals can mitigate burnout among logistics support staff by controlling daily workload, establishing equitable salary systems and implementing tailored humanistic management strategies.
