Аннотация
Herein, we report the first total synthesis of myxadazoles A1, A2, and B, natural products isolated from Myxococcus sp. SDU36. The concise synthetic route features efficient reductive aminations for installation of the ribose moiety and fatty acid side chain, a 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition for isoxazole construction, and late-stage benzimidazole formation. Starting from inexpensive, readily available materials, this strategy provides practical access to the natural products and enables the rapid synthesis of diverse myxadazole analogues.
