Аннотация
PURPOSE: To reduce depressive symptoms and psychological pain and enhance sense of meaning in life among individuals with depression through logotherapy.
METHOD: A quasi-experimental design was used. The intervention group received standard treatment alongside logotherapy for 8 weeks, whereas the control group continued standard depression treatment. Two-way repeated measures analysis of variance was used to assess group × time interactions.
RESULTS: Logotherapy significantly decreased depressive symptoms and psychological pain and improved sense of meaning in life. Group × time analyses confirmed the intervention's effectiveness over the study period.
CONCLUSION: Logotherapy can be used as an adjunct treatment to reduce depressive symptoms and psychological pain and improve meaning of life among individuals with depression.
