As debate around assisted dying continues, the longstanding pressures facing palliative, end-of-life and social care cannot be ignored. With concerns over funding, capacity and access repeatedly raised, the author questions whether healthcare services can properly support people in living well and ensure those approaching the end of life receive the care and dignity they deserve.
