Аннотация
National food and dietary guidance, and corresponding educational tools, play important roles in promoting healthy eating patterns at the population level. Developed in 2011 and replaced in 2026, MyPlate served as the longest-running food-based icon in US history. Led by the USDA Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion, a large catalog of science-based nutrition education resources and communication strategies, including MyPlate Plans and the Start Simple with MyPlate App, were created for diverse audiences, professionals, and corporate partners. MyPlate awareness increased over time. Moving forward, the processes for creating and promoting MyPlate can be used as examples for future efforts.
