Аннотация
Migraine is a chronic neurovascular disorder characterised by recurrent attacks of moderate-to-severe head pain, accompanied by transient but disabling symptoms such as aura, nausea, vomiting, phonophobia, and photophobia, reflecting the involvement of multiple systems. Migraine affects and disables a large proportion of the global population. The pathogenesis of migraine involves the interplay of genetic and epigenetic factors across complex neurosensory and neurovascular networks. Decades of research have elucidated key components of these pathways, driving the development of mechanism-based therapies that are now transforming clinical practice and substantially improving patients' lives.
