Аннотация
The life and health of the population depends on environmental factors of the habitat by 20-25%. The ecological state of the environment influences the occurrence of various diseases. Assessing the impact of environmental factors on the health of the population is a complex and multifaceted process. In this paper, the authors reflect the process of formation of the ecological index of well-being of the population (EI), which is formed on the basis of environmental indicators in all subjects of the Russian Federation and its possible use.
