Аннотация

Voriconazole is commonly used in the treatment of invasive fungal infections. The most frequent and earliest onset adverse effects are transient visual disturbances, while dermatological adverse effects occur later. Here, we reported very early-onset mucocutaneous adverse effects associated with voriconazole treatment in a patient with pulmonary aspergilloma. Color vision changes occurred within 40 minutes of the first loading dose of voriconazole. Subsequently, within 48 hours, facial erythema, prominent superficial vascular changes over the nasal region, and conjunctival hyperemia along with a nodular vascular appearance in the lower eyelid were observed. Complete resolution of symptoms was observed following discontinuation of voriconazole treatment. This case underscores the risk of developing early-onset visual and mucocutaneous adverse effects following initiation of voriconazole therapy.
