Research on the emotional space design of psychological counseling room from the perspective of embodied interaction.

The design of a supportive counseling room is closely related to the effectiveness of psychological counseling, and embodied interaction is an important way for clients to obtain counseling experiences. In order to guide the environment design of counseling room applying embodied cognition theory, this paper analyzes the clients' embodied interaction process in counseling room, interprets the spatial environmental design elements of counseling rooms from the emotional dimension, clarifies the design elements of psychological field based on the Gestalt psychological effect, analyzes the relationship of psychological theoretical findings, design goals and design content, and proposes emotional space design strategies for counseling rooms from the aspects of emotion arousal, emotion experience, emotion identification, and emotion co-construction. These strategies are applied in design practice, providing a reference for the application of environment-related psychological research and the environmental design practice of psychological counseling rooms.
