Аннотация
A 56-year-old male patient underwent transurethral resection of a bladder tumor (TURBT), the pathological diagnosis of which was urothelial carcinoma with sarcomatoid subtype, stage T1. Despite the absence of lesions in the upper urinary tract, multiple slightly enlarged para-aortic lymph nodes measuring less than 1 cm were detected on computed tomography. One year after TURBT, the patient exhibited recurrent thromboembolic events despite receiving anticoagulant therapy. As the para-aortic lymph nodes continued to enlarge, an open lymph node biopsy was performed, which revealed urothelial carcinoma. These findings suggest that the occurrence of thromboembolic events can be attributed to Trousseau's syndrome in conjunction with metastatic bladder cancer.
