Аннотация
Flowering times have long been a harbinger of the changing seasons and, more recently, of a changing climate. Among the cues that trigger flowering, precipitation timing has been relatively little-studied. Tsafon et al. show that the timing of precipitation shapes flowering in complex ways. Much work remains to disentangle this complexity.
