Аннотация
MR imaging defecography (MRD) provides comprehensive evaluation of pelvic floor anatomy and dynamic function during defecation. It enables simultaneous visualization of all 3 pelvic compartments and the supporting structures, allowing for diagnosis of complex pelvic floor disorders. This article reviews the indications, imaging protocols, interpretation methods, and clinical applications of MRD, with emphasis on identifying functional and structural abnormalities and guiding patient management and surgical planning.
