Аннотация
Structural and characterization of biogenic synthesis of plants in research and medicine have found pronounced applications, due to better therapeutic value. Green synthesis approaches on silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) have recently gained popularity due to their environmental friendliness and non-toxicity. AgNPs were green synthesized using Ipomoea hederifolia; antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, and dye degradation of its biological activities were investigated. AgNPs were assessed by characterization approaches such as UV, FTIR, XRD, Raman spectroscopy, FE-SEM, and EDX. The findings of UV, FTIR, XRD, and FE-SEM studies demonstrated spherical shape AgNPs. The bacteria strain of Enterococcus faecalis (18 ± 0.31) had the maximum zone of inhibition in comparison to other strains. AgNPs had a considerable effect on the suppression of free radicals in DPPH and ABTS assays. IC50 values for the anti-inflammatory activity showed a good impact for stabilization of HRBC (738.88 μg/mL) and albumin denaturation (788.87 μg/mL). Cytotoxicity of AgNPs was dependent on dosage; IC50 values ranged from 71.78 μg/mL for the AgNPs and 31.43% at 100 μg/mL, suggesting the potential of AgNPs to inhibit tumor cells. AgNPs exhibited excellent catalytic activity, effectively degrading methylene blue dye. Overall, the suggested results indicate that I. hederifolia-synthesized AgNPs are potentially promising for biological and environmental agents.
