Аннотация
INTRODUCTION: We present a unique case of MURCs (Mullerian duct, Renal and Cervico-thoracic somite dysplasia) association with an ectopic ureter in a paediatric patient.
CASE SUMMARY: A 9-year-old female presented with urinary incontinence secondary to an ectopic ureter. Further imaging lead to the diagnosis of MURCs association. The patient was successfully treated with a laparoscopic right nephro-uretectomy. Ongoing management will be required for her orthopaedic and gynaecological anomalies.
CONCLUSION: MURCs association is a rare constellation of congenital anomalies, usually only detected late in adolescence. It requires multi-disciplinary specialist care. Complex renal tract anomalies may be encountered that warrant surgical intervention.
