Аннотация
Animal experimentation is a fundamental tool in biomedical research for the study of diseases and the development of interventions such as drugs, vaccines, and probiotics for the treatment of human pathologies. Animal models enable analysis of pathophysiological processes in complex organisms with genetic and functional similarities to humans, which is essential for evaluating the safety and efficacy of new therapeutic interventions and surgical techniques before their clinical application. Among the most commonly used models are mice, rats, and fish, employed in the study of various diseases, including allergies like Alpha-Gal Syndrome and autoimmune disorders such as Guillain-Barré syndrome, characterized by progressive symptoms and potentially life-threatening conditions. At the same time, the use of human biological samples, such as blood, tissues, and biomolecules (e.g., DNA, RNA, proteins), plays a key role in the advancement of medical knowledge, especially in the identification of biomarkers associated with allergic diseases.
