Photocatalytic Approach to Decarboxylative Amidation of Aryl Glyoxylic Acids with Hydrazines.
Аннотация
A photocatalytic decarboxylative amidation methodology turns out to be a straightforward, sustainable, effective, mild, and metal-free protocol for the synthesis of amides. Here, we report a metal-free, environmentally friendly approach to the synthesis of amides via decarboxylative amidation of eco-friendly aryl glyoxylic acids with readily available hydrazines through C-N coupling using eosin Y as a photocatalyst, a CH3CN/H2O mixture as a green solvent, visible light as a renewable energy source, and air as an oxidant. More importantly, this approach exhibits a broad substrate scope, enabling the efficient conversion of diverse aryl glyoxylic acids and hydrazines into the desired products. Overall, this strategy establishes an excellent eco-friendly approach for the synthesis of biological drugs.
