Аннотация
INTRODUCTION: The relevance of this study is due to the fact that, with the growth of medical tourism and increasing migration flows, medical organizations are forced to adapt their services to the cultural and religious characteristics of patients. If staff lack cultural competence, this can lead to communication problems, decreased patient adherence to treatment, ethical conflicts, and reputational damage.
OBJECTIVE: To develop a scientifically based model for managing the adaptation of medical services to the cultural and religious needs of patients, including nutritional standards, spatial organization, and communication protocols.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: Тhe study is based on an analysis of regulatory and legal acts, religious sources (Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity), international recommendations on intercultural communication in medicine, as well as a summary of the practical experience of clinics working in the field of medical tourism.
RESULTS: The article presents a comprehensive model for adapting medical services, including: 1) standards for the provision of halal, kosher, and vegetarian meals, taking into account religious requirements and special periods (Ramadan, Shabbat, fasting); 2) principles of spatial organization (placement, routing, provision of spiritual needs); 3) intercultural communication protocols for different categories of personnel.
