Signet-Ring Cell Type Adenocarcinoma of the Urachus: A Rare Case.
Аннотация
Urachal adenocarcinoma is a rare subset of bladder cancer originating from the urachus. We present a case of a 62-year-old woman with a 2-year history of persistent dysuria, urinary frequency, and urgency. On physical examination, a firm, non-tender suprapubic mass was detected. Cystoscopy was performed and a bladder mass was detected. After obtaining the biopsy, pathology confirmed a mucinous signet-ring cell type adenocarcinoma of urachal origin with negative margins and no vascular or perineural invasion. Following negative tumor markers, colonoscopy and CT scans for metastasis, the patient underwent partial cystectomy with tumor resection. No adjuvant therapy was administered. At 6-month follow-up, the patient was asymptomatic, and imaging showed no disease progression.
