Аннотация
We describe a young woman with a compulsive drive to gain weight, characterized by fear of weight loss, distorted body image, and deliberate use of weight-inducing strategies. Her presentation reflects a pathological internalization of culturally valued corpulence, exceeding socially accepted behaviors and associated with psychological distress. This case may represent a probable culture-specific disorder and a psychocultural inversion of anorexia nervosa, highlighting the need for culturally informed diagnostic frameworks.
