Аннотация
The colposcope need not be used solely to examine the mucosa of the cervix and vagina. It can help in the diagnosis of the etiology of genito-pubic phthiriasis by the finding of louse eggs firmly fixed to the hairs, whereas usually only the low magnification microscope shows them up.
