Аннотация
The authors describe a 4-year-old boy with VACTERL (vertebrae, anus, heart, trachea, esophagus, kidney, and limbs)-associated bilateral neurotrophic keratopathy and a left limbal dermoid. Bilateral corneal neurotization was performed with simultaneous dermoid excision. Corneal sensation improved from 0 to 40 mm at 16 months, with stable ocular surfaces and no complications. The case is the first to illustrate that corneal neurotization may be combined with dermoid excision.
