BACKGROUND: As the first digital keratoconus outpatient clinic in Austria, we offer tomographic corneal measurements and their assessment at different time points in order to provide maximum flexibility to our patients. With the digital keratoconus outpatient clinic, a wide range of legal questions arise involving various legal aspects.
OBJECTIVE: This study analyzes the legal framework of the digital keratoconus outpatient clinic.
MATERIAL AND METHODS: First, the structure of the digital keratoconus outpatient clinic is outlined. Subsequently, the legal issues associated with the digital keratoconus outpatient clinic are analyzed.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The digital keratoconus outpatient clinic is fully compliant with Austrian law.
