The neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), as a simple and reliable biomarker of systemic inflammation, has garnered significant attention in the clinical management of various inflammatory diseases and malignancies. By quantifying the relative counts of neutrophils and lymphocytes, this parameter reflects the body's immune-inflammatory status.
