Аннотация
Castleman disease (CD) is a rare lymphoproliferative disorder that can affect lymph nodes of any part of the body including the neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis. The most common involved site is the mediastinum. Parotid gland may be involved as a part of multicentric CD. Unicentric CD with isolated involvement of the parotid is very rare. Diagnosis of this condition is necessary as untreated unicentric CD may progress to multicentric type and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Though there is no specific radiological finding to diagnose CD, recent advances in MRI may help to narrow down the differential diagnosis and to evaluate the extent of the disease. Here, we present a case of hyaline vascular type CD in an adult male with isolated parotid involvement who presented with a slow-growing parotid swelling.
