Azacitidine (AZA) is commonly used in patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). To determine the role of AZA before allogeneic stem cell transplantation (allo-SCT), we conducted a prospective study of AZA pre-treatment followed by allo-SCT in patients with higher-risk MDS.
