This report describes a patient with a poorly differentiated cutaneous angiosarcoma (CA) of the face superinfected with pseudomonas aeruginosa. Neoplastic cells were positive for CD-34, CD-31 and vimentin, whereas they failed to express other vascular markers such as Factor VIII and Ulex europeaus lectin. Leiomyosarcoma is the second most common non epithelial malignant tumor of the stomach. It is almost always a single lesion. Multiple leiomyosarcomas of the stomach are extremely rare. To our knowledge only three cases have been reported so far. Primary malignant liver neoplasms of the adult are discussed with emphasis on hepatocellular carcinoma, the most common neoplasm. The clinical and pathologic aspects of the following neoplasms are correlated with imaging features: hepatocellular carcinoma, fibrolamellar carcinoma, intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, angiosarcoma, epithelial hemangioendothelioma, other sarcomas, and lymphoma. The complementary role of ultrasound, CT, and MR imaging in characterizing these lesions and determining resectability is highlighted.

Vinyl chloride (VC) induces angiosarcomas of the liver (ASL) and hepatocellular carcinomas (HCCs) in humans and rodents. We examined the presence of p53 gene mutations in ASL and HCC induced by VC in Sprague Dawley rats; 25 ASL and eight HCCs were analyzed for point mutations in exons 5-8, using PCR amplification, single-strand conformation polymorphism analysis, and direct DNA sequencing. A case of sarcomatoid renal cell carcinoma with widespread metastases to liver and bones in a cadaver renal transplant recipient is reported in this article. The patient underwent a kidney transplant at the age of 43 and was treated with various immunosuppressive agents after surgery. Twelve months after the transplantation, multiple tumors were found in the liver, and the patient died 8 months later. We report two cases of Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) after orthotopic liver transplantation for cirrhosis of the liver related to hepatitis C virus. Both cases were Saudi-born Arabs who were negative for human immunodeficiency virus; one patient was receiving FK506 plus prednisolone, and the other patient was receiving FK506. One patient died of fulminant multicentric KS. The other patient, with lesions confined to the lower limbs, is still alive.
