PURPOSE: To analyze varying clinical presentations, histopathological features, and management outcome of sebaceous gland carcinoma (SGC) of the eyelid.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: We retrospectively reviewed medical records of 30 patients with histologically proven cases of SGC of eyelid treated at tertiary care hospital.

We report a series of 20 patients who underwent inferiorly based rotation flaps for reconstruction of defects of the medial and infraorbital cheek and lower eyelid following Mohs micrographic surgery for nonmelanoma skin cancer. Defects ranged from 1.2 to 3.2 cm in longest diameter and patients ranged from 27 to 91 years of age. Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most common eyelid malignancy; however, orbital invasion by periocular BCC is rare, and management remains challenging. Established risk factors for orbital invasion by BCC include male gender, advanced age, medial canthal location, previous recurrences, large tumor size, aggressive histologic subtype and perineural invasion. Retiform hemangioendothelioma (RH) is a distinct entity in the spectrum of vascular tumors with a high local recurrence rate. It is considered a low-grade, well-differentiated cutaneous angiosarcoma with low metastatic potential. We report here for the first time a case of medial canthus recurrent RH.
