Objective Aim of the study was to assess the feasibility of a novel technique to determine the vascularity of labia minora prior to labiaplasty. Methods A cold light source employed in laparoscopic procedures was used to illuminate the outer surface of the labia minora as described in this prospective descriptive study. We report a case of successful vaginal delivery after vaginal reconstruction with labium minus flaps in a 23-year-old patient with congenital vaginal atresia. AIMS AND BACKGROUND: Extramammary Paget disease (EMPD) is an uncommon malignant neoplasm that occurs in areas containing apocrine glands, and the vulva is the most commonly involved site. Wide surgical excision with subsequent defect reconstruction is widely accepted as the first-line treatment for EMPD. More recently, radiation treatment has been considered an appropriate primary or adjuvant treatment. In an effort to replace wide excision and avoid unfavorable aesthetic results and sexual dysfunction, we decided to excise the tumor minimally and to add adjuvant radiation treatment.

Gestational trophoblastic neoplasias (GTNs) are rare tumors that constitute <1% of all gynecological malignancies. GTNs in postmenopausal women are rare and usually malignant. Distinctive asymmetry of the labia minora is an underestimated complication that can be congenital, post-traumatic, or occur after oncological intervention or aesthetic labioplasty. Affected women can be restricted functionally and in their sense of self-worth, aesthetic appearance and sexual life. In presenting this case of post-oncological labia minora asymmetry, we demonstrate our method of the two-stage posterior cross-labial transposition flap as a reliable technique for unilateral labium minus reconstruction.

Langerhans cell histiocytosis is a rare idiopathic disorder with protean clinical presentations. Primary unifocal single-system disease of the vulva is even less common. The authors report a case of acquired lymphangioma circumscriptum (LC), localised in the right labium majus of vulva and characterised by periodic symptoms for 8 years; however, 3 months after the right major labiectomy, the same symptoms developed in both the left labium majus and the right labium minus. BACKGROUND: Aggressive angiomyxoma is a variant of myxoid neoplasms of the female pelvic soft parts. The term "aggressive" refers to the tumor's locally infiltrative and recurrent nature because distant metastases are rare.
