STUDY OBJECTIVE: Recurrent torsion of otherwise normal adnexa (not involving adnexal cysts) has been reported in young girls and adolescents. Previous ovarian fixation techniques (oophoropexy), such as plication of the utero-ovarian ligament, appear to have limited efficacy in preventing recurrent torsion. A novel technique combining plication of the utero-ovarian ligament and suturing of the ovary to the round ligament has recently been described. BACKGROUND: Laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy for pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is a new and widely used approach; however, ever since the United States Food and Drug Administration warned against the use of surgical mesh, repairs performed using patients' tissues [i.e. native tissue repair (NTR)] instead of mesh have attracted much attention. At our hospital, laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy (the Shull method) was introduced in 2017. Lipoleiomyomas are rare, fatty variants of leiomyomas (commonly referred to as fibroid), which are frequently found in the uterine corpus and cervix. Here, we present a case of a robotic inguinal hernia repair with resection of an incidental lipoleiomyoma. BACKGROUND: Uterine diverticulum is classified into congenital and acquired types. The acquired type is caused by caesarean scar syndrome, which occurs after caesarean section. There are no detailed reports on diverticulum after enucleation of uterine fibroids. Most cases are treated with hysteroscopy or laparoscopy, but a management consensus is lacking.
