We report the sonographic findings in a case of torsed appendix epididymis that occurred in an adult, which was misdiagnosed as a tunica vaginalis tumor such as cystic mesothelioma. Scrotal gray-scale sonography revealed an ovoid-shaped, heterogeneously hypoechoic mass with multiple tiny cystic foci and thick septa in the sac of the right tunica vaginalis, which abuts to the right epididymal head. Color Doppler sonography showed no blood flow within the mass. Pathological examination revealed torsion of the appendix epididymis.

BACKGROUND: This study was designed to analyze differences between retroperitoneal liposarcoma (RLPS) extending into the inguinal canal and inguinoscrotal liposarcoma.
METHODS: We retrospectively reviewed the records for patients who were managed for inguinal liposarcoma at Samsung Medical Center, a tertiary hospital, between January 1998 and December 2016. Patient data on demographics, tumour location, surgery, adjuvant therapy, histology, recurrence and death were collected. We used Mann-Whitney, Fisher exact and Kaplan-Meier log-rank tests to analyze differences between groups.

Scrotal hair is a clinical condition that occurs rarely in infancy. Its prevalence is not known. We present a retrospective analysis of six patients referred to our pediatric endocrinology clinic. Lipomas are benign mesenchymal tumours that are rarely seen in the scrotum. Few cases of primary scrotal lipomas originating from the scrotal wall have been reported in the literature. We describe the case of a giant primary intrascrotal lipoma presenting as scrotal swelling and discomfort. Findings from scrotal magnetic resonance imaging were highly suspicious for lipoma. The mass was completely excised and histological examination confirmed the diagnosis of lipoma.

This study evaluated the thermoregulation and spermatogenic changes by scrotal temperature gradient using infrared thermography in testicular compromised bulls. Bulls were insulated (n = 6) for 72 hr and control animals (n = 3) remained without insulation during all the experimental period.
