BACKGROUND: Paraneoplastic pemphigus (PNP) is an autoimmune blistering disease characterized by the production of autoantibodies mainly directed against proteins of the plakin family. An overlapping distribution of autoantibody specificities has been recently reported between PNP, pemphigus vulgaris (PV), and pemphigus foliaceus (PF), which suggests a relationship between the different types of pemphigus.

Schistosomal myeloradiculopathy (SMR) is a severe and little known form of presentation of schistosomiasis mansoni and hematobic schistosomiasis. 99mTc-PMT delayed imaging was performed on 199 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and 72 patients with various hepatic diseases, from which HCC should be differentiated. The natural history of noninvasive urothelial papillary carcinomas is characterized by structural and nuclear abnormalities of the epithelial lining in the three grades. This study gives results of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the evaluation of male (23 cases) and female (29 cases) pelvis. Thirty nine patients with abnormal pelvis were compared with CT and ultrasounds.
