BACKGROUND: Bone metastasis is known to occur in some patients with cancer, usually in the spine, pelvis or ribs, and less than 0.01% of patients have metastases in the foot bone, so metatarsal metastasis is quite rare. The initial symptoms of osseous metastases are swelling, pain, or both.

PURPOSE: This study aims to identify predictive local recurrence risk factors and site-specific local recurrence pattern of upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) with different primary tumor locations.
METHODS: Three hundred and eighty-nine UTUC patients with radical nephroureterectomy were included in this study. Univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazards regressions were performed to measure the risk of local recurrence. We also mapped the position of local recurrence sites stratified by primary tumor locations.

Patients with renal cell carcinoma may develop metastases after radical nephrectomy, and therefore monitoring with imaging for recurrent or metastatic disease is critical. AIMS: Bladder cancer represents the most common type of urothelial carcinoma, with a median overall survival of 12.5-15 months in the case of metastatic disease. We evaluated the role of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) in the management oligometastatic urothelial cancer.

Mesenchymal neoplasm is rare in renal pelvic region. Aggressive angiomyxomas are the neoplasms seen predominantly in female genital region. These tumors are locally aggressive with rare cases presenting with metastasis. Its occurrence in renal pelvis is extremely rare with only five cases reported in the literature. The present case is the sixth case reported in a 15-year-old girl who presented to the surgery department as a case of horseshoe kidney. The mass was excised and a diagnosis of aggressive angiomyxoma was rendered.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate postoperative recurrence patterns for high-risk nonmetastatic renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and to identify prognostic factors associated with site-specific metastatic recurrence using a multi-institutional contemporary cohort.
METHODS: Data for nonmetastatic ≥pT3a RCC patients treated with surgery at 4 independent centers was analyzed. Initial recurrence locations were identified, and imaging templates were defined by anatomic landmarks using radiologic definitions. Prognostic factors for site specific recurrence were evaluated with univariate and multivariable analyses.
